Join the ULTIMATE BIG GAME HUNT
MAY 26 & 27 during TORONTO BIKE WEEK
|
They have big game downtown? The biggest!
Are they dangerous? I guess you've never been doored by one of those suckers.
Do they smell bad? Even after a tune up they ain't too fresh.
Do I have to eat what I kill? Actually it is just a photo shoot. No animals will be harmed in the making of this Toronto Bike Week event. Grab a camera and join the fun.

| 3rd Annual Parking Meter Party: Tuesday May 27 6:00 pm
Throwing a street party is a compelling idea but one which is heavily bureaucratized in Toronto. Although a permit can be obtained at a reasonable cost, the required police presence is very expensive and a line up of police standing guard behind barriers
can make a celebration look more like civil unrest. So renting a few parking spots on the street is a cheap and cheerful solution. Bring easy-to-serve snacks, coins for the meter. Oh yes, and this year we are playing TABLE HOCKEY.
So wh
at is this picture all about? Why, it is one of our mascots from last year, a parking meter in a vinyl party dress.
